Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information sys9, Inc. (“sys9”, “we”) collects when you use our websites and services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as we can and to be plain about the rest. This is a summary in plain language, not a contract; for agreements covering production use, contact legal@sys9.ai.

Information we collect

  • Account & contact details you give us — such as name and email when you request access or email us.
  • Service data — the data, databases, files, and agent sessions you create with services like db9, drive9, run9, mem9, and owl9. This is yours; we process it to operate the service.
  • Usage & technical data — logs, device and browser information, and metrics needed to run, secure, and improve the services.

How we use information

  • To provide, maintain, and secure the services.
  • To respond to your requests and provide support.
  • To monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and improve the product.
  • To meet legal and compliance obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Your service data

You stay in control of the data your agents produce. mem9 lets humans inspect, import, and export memory; db9 and drive9 data is yours to read, copy, and mount. We process service data to operate the services you use and on your instructions.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run sys9 (under confidentiality obligations), when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public. A list of sub-processors is available on request as part of a data processing agreement — see our DPA.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You can request deletion of your data as described below.

Security

We design for isolation by default — edge-attached secrets, per-agent vault grants, and per-tenant data branching. You can read how this works on our security page. No system is perfectly secure; report concerns to security@sys9.ai.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise them, email privacy@sys9.ai and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. We'll change the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to let you know.
