Terms of Service

These terms govern your access to and use of the sys9 websites, CLIs, APIs, and services (the “Services”), provided by sys9, Inc. By using the Services you agree to these terms. This is a plain-language version; for negotiated agreements covering production or enterprise use, contact legal@sys9.ai.

The Services

sys9 provides an agent-native stack of composable services — including run9, db9, drive9, owl9, mem9, and the primitives — that you can adopt individually. Some services are generally available and others are in preview or rolling out; preview services may change or be withdrawn.

Accounts & access

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure. Where the Services are agent-native (use-first, claim-later), you remain responsible for what your agents do with the Services.

Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or limit access to protect the Services, other users, or to comply with law.

Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you submit to the Services. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate and provide the Services to you. We process your data as described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our DPA.

Beta & preview

Services or features marked beta, preview, or “coming soon” are provided as-is for evaluation, may be incomplete, and are not recommended for critical workloads unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Fees

Paid plans are billed as described at the time of purchase. Where a service bills for usage (for example, compute billed only while running), charges reflect actual use. See pricing for current details.

Intellectual property

sys9 and its licensors own the Services, software, and brand, except for open-source components, which are governed by their respective licenses (see open source). The sys9 name and marks may be used only as described on our brand page.

Disclaimers & liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and sys9's liability is limited. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or the AUP, or as required by law. Your data export rights are described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you.
